Hello all! It’s time to recap my favorites in music, food, tv, movies, and more from the past week.

Music: I’m really loving Arcade Fire’s new single “Suburbs” from their upcoming album by the same name. LISTEN HERE.

I also spent a good amount of time listening to the new (old) album, “The Medicine“, from John Mark McMillan. Great, honest stuff.

Books: I haven’t had too much time to read lately but I have been slowly moving through Seth Brogan & Julien Smith’s book, Trust Agents. Highly recommended for anyone working in social networking and online media.

TV: Mad Men returned tonight and was without a doubt the TV highlight of my week. I also spent time catching up on my favorite cooking show, Dinner With The Band. DWTB airs Tuesday nights at 10:30 p.m. on IFC

Food: I swung by Twin Oaks in Bridgeport after a friend’s wedding for an amazing pizza. I went with the pepperoni and sausage. Always amazing.

Fall is here and new seasons of our favorite TV shows are getting ready to start along with the premiere of a few new shows.

Here is a day-by-day breakdown of my DVR schedule for the fall.

::Mondays::
How I Met Your Mother – 8:30 p.m. – CBS
The Big Bang Theory – 9:30 p.m. – CBS

::Tuesdays::
Maybe it’s just me but there is nothing on Tuesday nights that is worth watching…except Conan, but that’s every night!

::Wednesdays::
Glee – 9 p.m. – FOX – I have high hopes for this show to stay awesome.  The first episode showed lots of promise.
Modern Family – 9 p.m. – ABC – Al Bundy returns!

::Thursdays::
The Office – 9 p.m. – NBC
Community – 9:30 p.m. (8 p.m. starting October 8) – NBC
30 Rock – 9:30 p.m. – NBC
The Mentalist – 10 p.m. – CBS – A little quirky but not too shabby…def. better than watching The Jay Leno Show!

::Sundays::
Mad Men – 10 p.m. – AMC – This show keeps getting better and better.
